What made you get rid of your TM-510 for a T720? And what do you like better about the T720?

Hi Corey. Number 1: please don't do that with the subject again. you just gave me a heart attack Number 2: I honestly didn't like my TM-510 at all. The display was nice, and the call quality was good, but I didn't like the fact I couldn't hear myself in the speaker. I couldn't stand the fact that the damn phonebook couldn't be organized in a better way. Plus I thought it was ugly after two weeks. I actually retired it and bought the v60c when it came out for full retail. The TM-510 just didn't do it for me (the phone book actually did it in). I'll try to help you out since I've had both phones: TM-510 is better at: very solidly built menus are faster battery life T720 is better at: screen is really really easy to read (esp if you're really drunk) you can hear yourself in the speaker (somebody told me that they could hear themselves in the TM-510, but I can't verify) menus are very intuitive (it's like going from a text menu on Windows to an icon based menu) you can check your pop3 mail (extremely useful for me) using sodapop mail voice dialing works like a charm unless you're on a NYC avenue and there's a lot of noise I haven't had any probs with the software. I exchanged once to get the new software, but it wasn't necessary. Earpiece volume is ok for me, even on a busy city street. I get about two days with the regular battery, a little over a full 24 hours with the slim (550MAh) with moderate usage The TM-510 is a very good, very reliable, basic phone if that's what you want, but once you have color menus for a bit, going back is like going from Windows to DOS. I think ultimately its a call on how much of a gadget freak you are. I still have no idea how you can deal with that stupid phonebook.
