Default T720 and Truesync

I have the Verizon Mobile Office Kit for the V120, V60 and T720. I also have Truesync V2.1 which is required to upgrade using the V3.1 patch that is on the Starfish website.

However I can't get anything to load. The only thing I've loaded succesfully is the Verizon package which includes a T720 USB driver and a very simple app that only shows names and numbers.

When I tried to install Truesync V2.1 it doesn't have the T720 option (I suppose because it's old) and will not install no matter which phone I click on. I tried this with both the Verizon drivers installed and uninstalled.

Has anyone had any luck getting Truesync V2.1 upgraded to V3.1 with a T720? If so please let us all know. There is another thread that discusses this, titled "T710 Datasync", but all the people who claim it works are talking about the V60 not the T720.

Thanks,
VJS

Default T720 and Truesync

VJSILVA;

You are not alone! This is exactly what happened to me while trying to load an even older version of Truesync.

Does have one have a full release of the new version? Does it work?

Thanks!

Default T720 and Truesync

I basically selected a V60 when it wanted a phone, because you have to have all of the components installed for the TrueSync update to update 'em. In fact, I was able to use the GPRS Manager as is in that mode before I upgraded. I used the Motorola USB Data kit I purchased from a T-Mobile store (because the AT&T Wireless stores don't sell them!) and the TrueSync software that came on a CD with it.
