What's the latest PRL? I have 50069 anyone have a newer one? How often are we supposed to update it?

PRL = Preferred Roaming List It determines which cells your phone will use over other cells. It's very important for America's Choice plans. The idea being that if you have the most up to date PRL you're less likely to use a network where you'd be charged Roaming. Your phone will operate on the "Preferred" network. It helps with preventing dropped calls when you cross cell lines and also helps to extend battery life by keeping your phone off analog mode as much as possible. Etc. etc. |

I've got the same as you. I was told on HowardForums that you should update it once a month. BTW, PRL's are region specific, so you should mention that we're in NYC.

I have 50069 as well for my PRL. How do you update the PRL?? What is ESN? My ESN is 4266831E. Is that good? |

ESN=Electronic Serial Number Goold old fashion serial number that identifies your phone on the network. Now that you know the answer I don't think you would ask the question "Is it good?" anymore. PS- Update PRL by dialing *228
