Correct way to charge our batteries... Okay here it goes...
I have a Moto V710, I am just curious as to the best way to be charging my phone. I am a fairly heavy user, and typically by the end of the day I am down to 2 bars, or even one. Will it reduce the life/quality of my battery
if I charge my phone every night? In other words, should I be waiting until LowBat before charging my phone, or can I cahrge it every night regardless...?

Re: Correct way to charge our batteries... As long as you properly conditioned the battery when it was new, you should be able to plug it in each night without a problem. LIon batteries
do not have a memory, but "conditioning" them at the start of their life cycle (ie: full discharge, full charge, full discharge) allows the battery to obtain maximum potential.
If you find you're still running short by the end of the day, you might want to look into the extended battery. The innocent shall suffer. Big time.

Re: Correct way to charge our batteries... Thanks for the reply Critic, my only question is will it harm my battery by leaving it charging overnight... in other words, the fact that I sometimes have 2 bars at the end of the night and I plug it in anyway, it sits in the charger
for about 7 hours straight... Someone told me that this will in affect harm my battery; is this true?

Re: Correct way to charge our batteries... The answer is NO... When your phone us fully charged it shuts down the juice. You can tell this buy feeling the charger in the wall socket while it is charging. It normally is warm, once the charge is complete if you fell the charger it is now cool....

Re: Correct way to charge our batteries... I read (in the current issue of some science magazine whose name escapes me, one with a battery on the cover) that LIon batteries actually last longer if you don't make a habit of fully discharging them (conditioning at the start is different). So it's probably better to charge them every night.
