Should i drain the battery first then charge it, or fully charge it first before i drain it then charge it again when i first get the battery?

I would totally drain it to the point that the phone shuts itself off and then charge it on the HOME charger for 18-24 hours. Let it discharge to the point that it shuts itself off for the next 3 or 4 cycles and the battery should be conditioned.

Even with a lithium Ion it needs to be conditioned. It is kind of like the break in period for your car. Cycle it a few times and it will last a lot longer and give a lot better performance.
