Ok, so i've had the t720 for a few days and on many levels it blows away the lg510 that I had previously, the only hang up i have is that it seems a little fragile. I've looked at the other phones verizon offers and the only one that interests me is the v60i. My initial reason for getting the t720 was that with the rebate it only cost me $149 as opposed to $249(although i think there might be $50 rebate) for the v60i.

Does anyone think the v60i would be a step back? And is it worth the extra $50? It does seem to have a rather dedicated following on this board, but any advice will be well appreciated.

Personally, I would recommend the v60i. It doesn't have the Get it Now, Color screen, and 1x capabilities of the 720, but in my opinion, it is a much more well designed phone. And it doesn't feel nearly as fragile.

I'm not really concerned with the get it now or the games or even web browsing, but that large color screen is really nice.

hmmm...It's a tough call, I haven't had any problems with the phone, which seems odd considering everyone else's experiances. I'll check the thread in the morning and see if anyone else weighs in, but i think i'm leaning towards the v60i if it's only $50 more.

at radioshack the T720 and V60i are the same price after mail-in rebate and presonally I like the V60i better.

The v60i is a really sweet phone. The extra features, and ringtones are the only reason to go with the t720 over the v60i.
