Default Billing Question- Talk Time v. Web v. MSN Messaging?

I have a question that i hope someone can clarify for me. I know that when you talk on the phone, it is rounded to the next minute. Does anyone know if it works the same way for the web?, and particularly when using MSN Messenger. I have noticed that the send/receieve icon on the phone isn't always on, so I assume that when I am typing a message, and the send/receive icon is off, it's not costing me anything. But when I send the message, the icon activates for a few seconds, is this send/receive also being rounded to the next minute? just curious if anyone has figured this out yet? Thanks!

Or how about text messaging? I know it counts towards your monthly alloted messages, but does it also count as air time when it is being transmitted or received? :confused

you have a set amount of text messages depending on what package you order. if you don't have the package, then you pay per message. it doesn't affect your airtime. i don't know about msn messenger, but i know for aol instant messenger (it's probably the same for msn also) it is the same as text messaging. so if you have 100 messages/month, then when you sign on, im friends, and sign off, they all use your 100 messages per month. that's what they told me at verizon.

Since MSN messenger is accessed via the Web browser, you will use air time for it.
