I called motorola prior to purchasing my T720. I asked them if there was an installed hands free kit available for the T720. They informed me that they were in the process of producing one, but that it wasn't available yet. They said they were still designing/manufacturing the cradle for the phone, that they pretty much had the rest of it done. They even gave me the part number and price (S9610 $135.00).
I am eagerly awaiting the release of the installed hands free kits, as I will be buying two of them, one for each vehicle.

Go figure. The V60 and T720 have the same exact pin connectors on the bottom, most of the hardware that works for the V60 will work on the T720 (Actually, to date I think all the hardware). I could take the V60 installed hands free kit and plug a T720 onto it and use it(More than likely, haven't tried this). My T720 just wouldn't clip into the cradle. So that is probably why Motorola told me they were still manufacturing the cradle.
I have also been following the thread on the V60 installed kit. Apparently there are a few problems with the kit that Motorola is in the process of correcting, so that is more than likely the other reason for the delay in distributing the installed hands free kit. I am confident they will release one, confident enough to purchase (2) T720's.

Where did you get the T720 cradle? Is it made by Motorola?

How well does the hands free work. Any clues on mic placement. I am having one installed next week.
