Motorola v60i for Verizon - silent mode and ring+vib mode?

Hey, two questions. First, is there a way to get this phone into a silent or vibrate only mode without having to go through all the menus? Sort of like the one touch solution the LG's and Samsung phones have? And second, the ring&vib mode I assumed meant that it ringed and vibrated at the same time, but mine doesn't. Is there a way to make it actually ring and vibrate at the same time? Mine vibrates first then rings.

yes there is a way to get ur ring to vibe or silent without going to all those menus. when ur fone is closed, press the volume up/down button and then press the smart button underneath it to change the ring. And i have the same prob with the vibe&ring mode. cna someone help please?

I set up the 'smart button" as the shortcut key. then all I have to do is pick the style.

i am sorry to say that there is no way for you to get the V60i to both ring and vib at the same time, it is just the way that motorola made thier phones. also with the verizon service, know that you will only get 3 rings in befor the caller is dumped into your voice mail, and yes the 3 rings will be taken up in the vib mode of your phone, but thats if you have VM.

My phone typically rings 4-5 times before going to voice mail.
