i just got the v710 and i was wondering if theres an easy way to get mp3s on your 710? from my observation, it looks like it would be to get the transflash sd card and USB SD card reader. am i correct?

Yes, you are correct. However, if you want 30 second long MP3 ringtones,go to www.walmart.com Go into the music section, find the song you want, preview it if you like, save it to your pc,change the file extension from .mp3 to .mid and then you can either e-mail them to your v710 or go through www.vzwpix.com I e-mail them, vzwpix doesn't work for me but everyone says it does, remember if you e-mail them, it's a quarter each time you send a e-mail unless you got a pix bundle.

Just another note, if you use the transflash card you do not have to change the extension from mp3 to mid. You only have to do this if you email them to yourself. Since I got the transflash card I do not use vzwpix to email myself, but prior to that I did and it worked fine. |

With the transflash card you just format it on the phone then. Plug it into your reader. Go to motorola, shared files, audio, copy and paste songs right in there.
