Default Motorola HS820

I know this has probably been posted but I think this is a great deal on the HS820 and I am considering bidding at ebay - any advice?

That price has not yet met the sellers reserve and is still a week away from being over. I looked on ebay and currently they are bidding about $60-65 for the 820. I see an auction for an 810 about to end for $55. The 810 is the higher end model so that is a great price.

even if it has a reserve, you have nothing to lose by bidding, as long as you are prepared to buy at the price you bid, just in case the reserve is low. My opinion is that if you are getting the HS820 headset for under $60, your getting a deal, so I would bid at least up to $50, if you win you are getting it for a very good price

I spent $79 for the 820 and then got a mail in rebate for $20. So any price in that area is a deal. I have the 820 and really like it. If you read the mass discussions about the 820 vs 810 you will find that the overall opinion is the 820 is better and I agree.

I believe the rebate is good until Oct 31, 2004. After reading your question I went and tried to find an online form and I couldn't either. When I purchased the HS820 at my local Verizon store they gave me a copy of my receipt and the rebate form. I suggest you call your local store and ask if they have them there. If not I would call 611 and ask them if they could email or mail you one. Hope it works out for you.

I live in California, I will call my local Verizon store and find out if they still have the rebate forms. If they do I will pick one up for you an either scan it into my computer and then email it to you or I will mail it to you. I will do this tomorrow. (Labor Day)

Silverado, I got the rebate form for you. It is two sided so I can either scan both sides and email it to you or I can mail it to you. Let me know what you want me to do.

Sportsman,

Is the rebate only if purchased at a VZW store? I just bought my 820 online through a wireless reseller for around $65 with shipping. If the rebate is good for the purchase anywhere, could I beg of you to scan a copy and send one my way?? I'll get you an e-mail address if so.

Thanks!

I am reading the rebate form and it does say "Offer valid through Verizon Wireless Stores, online store , Kiosks only." If you still want me to scan and email this to you I will. But it looks like it wont work, sorry

I guess don't worry about it. I used a gift certificate to buy it through Amazon, so I shouldn't complain. None of my "money" was used

Thanks anyway!
