That was the correct sequence on the v60t.

The easiest way on the v60i is:

##DEBUG (33284)

to deactivate, hit MENU - LEFTSOFTKEY to return to idle screen

Then hit ##DEBUG again. The last "4" will not appear in the display if you have done it sucessfully.

Chris,

If you have a CDMA v60i, press ##Debug. (##33284) The 4 will not appear if you have done it correctly.

In the v60i CDMA band. Debug mode ##Debug. (##33284) , you can force Digital mode.
So you don't have to worry about being charged extra for analog mode roaming.

I thought only Sprint charged for analog mode roaming. There is plenty of ananlog "in network" or "extended network" for Verizon.

How do I get out of test mode? WHen I do the ##33284, the last 4 doesn't appear. But when I power down my phone and power on, it's back in test mode. This is for the v60i on at&t if that makes a difference.

i have at&t wireless too and i have some advice about the test mode thing. it's worked with me and i hope it can help u [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

first i dial #program# just as i did to first get into test mode. then i enter the security code. after it brings me to a menu where i select test mode. then from there on you should be able to disable your phone from test mode.

that's what i did to get out of test mode, but yours might be more complicated than that. hope i could be of some help!

What is a test mode ? i went to #program# and changed the at&t banner. Anything else that I can change. As my name name says i am a rookie and dont know much about cell phones, so dont laugh at me.

A friend has a v60i and it is in the test mode. She want to know how to not have it pop up everytime she power cycles her phone. So she wants to turn it off. How does she turn it off?

##DEBUG is the quickest way in and out of test mode. When in the test mode screen, press menu and the left soft key to toggle back to the idle screen, then enter ##DEBUG on the keypad. The "G" or 4 should not appear. You will then be out of test mode.
