I'm looking at getting a motorola v60g...

I have done some research, on the web, and have narrowed my choices down to the motorola v60g fliptop phone. What are some of the pro's and cons with this phone, and also it's siblings? Would it be better if I waited till the v60e comes out? I'm pretty anxious to get a phone and one months seems sooooooooooo far away! Any help is appreciated. Also I want to sign up with Cingular, what are your feelings about them?

well lets see.......the v60g is with cingular becasuse the phone works on gsm technologyand from what i know california is cingular gsm. i also hear that coverage is very good out there. i have the v60g and the phone is great i'd wouldn't trade it for the world. on the other hand you have the v60E which is supposedly comming out in a month but you never know the v60i is out right now. difference is that the v60i and the soon to be v60e is cdma technology which is verizon. not that im saying verizon is no good. they have comporable coverage to cingular. as far as plans go cingular's nation plans are a little more enticing.

also the only difference between the two is that the v60i has interchangable faceplates the v60g does not. also one is cdma (code division multiple access) and one is gsm (global system for mobile communications)
