Default #1 STEEL CAP ANTENNA for V60 motorola review

i put this on for my v60c (i got it from ebay from eforcity.com)

I bought the one that is shaped like a styrofoam cup. it has a gold band around it and is gray. It doesn't really match the phone. cuz the phone is made of chrome.

however as much as people say these things suck with reception. i put it on and haven't noticed a single difference in reception. i get the same amount of bars. and the compactness is great. i never extended my antenna out anyways for the V60c.

i think it's great. i paid 11.85 (5.90 for the phone and 5.95 for shipping) if you can get it cheaper i would get it. it'll never ever break from what i can see. i don't know how the screw threads are though because i know this is made for all v60's as they say. because i think the other models are a bit different. because i tried putting on my friend's AT&Ticon v60 and it didn't screw down all the way. so i think his threads are bigger. so i'm wondering if this is messing up my threads but i don't think it is.

anyways. i suggest you buy this. but try to get out of that nasty shipping cost because i looked at the box and it only cost them 83 cents to ship it.

    hope this helps you guys.

I got one for my v60g and used it about 2 hours. I then went back to the original antenna. Some places I had the same amount of bars but in any fringe areas it would not pick up service, the the original antenna would. I liked the looks of the metal cap and nothing large sticking out, but I don''t think it works as well in all cases.
