|  Ringtone help
Ok, newbie here. Been reading a lot of the posts about the v710 and ringtones since I just bought one. I am having problems with getting a ringtone to work on my phone, so I have a couple of questions. I have read all the posts, but still a little confused so please have patience. 1. Can the v710 only use MP3's as ringtones? I have tried to email .wav and .mid files and the phone won't play them.....says it's an unknown format. 2. Does emailing the ringtones to my phone actually work? I'm not using Verizon's service, just attaching the file to an email & sending to my phone. 3. Can I transfer ringtones to the phone through MPTs? If so, how? 4. Any other help or advice would be appreciated. Maybe I just need to get the transflash card to make the transfer easier. |
