Default V60 Extended Battery & Door

Can anyone tell me whether the Motorola extended batteryicon for the V60 makes a real difference in how much standby you get between charges? Do they sell a back door along with the battery because the battery is larger and wont' fit without making the overall phone larger?

    Thanks,

    J.

With my V60i the extended batteryicon did allow me to go several more days without having to charge. The larger battery cover came with my extended battery and was the right color for the phone...kind of a greenish silver.
With my black L6 and wireless H500 ear piece, I feel like a naked boy roaming the country side.

Yes, make sure they send you the right back cover color, being that different carriers used a similar but different shade color, like the Cman said, make sure you get the one for your particuliar version since you are using US Cellular.

Great–more time plus a spare battery is a big deal. Tony E, I had US Cellular a few days ago, just got Verizonicon America's Choice and a V60s. I'm hoping this will be a move I'll feel good about several months from now. I be traveling in remote areas and want the best coverage and reception I can get. The size of the phone makes little difference on the road, but does make a difference other times. So the two battery setup is a good thing, as Martha would say.

    more questions...
Does using a 12V chargericon have an adverse effect on these batteries?
Will I be happy with a V60s when trying to make calls in fringe areas?

the v60 series have always had good RF from my experiences with them, when i travel that's the phone i will usually take with me for analog back up and great RF in fringe reception areas and it's small size. the 12volt car chargericon should be just fine, just make sure it's a good quality one, and by that i don't mean it has to be from Verizonicon, one from Walmarticon or Target will do, but not the ones they cell at the .99 cent stores......lol

I bougt an eye glass repair kit a dollar store yesterday to fix a pair of sunglasses. None of the screws fit, and the screw drivers wouldn't even fit into the screw heads.

Me either! I bought one at Target that's made by Sanyo. It looks good, has a nice coiled cord and so forth. They tried to sell me one for $35 at the Verizonicon store when I bought the phone. This one looks just as good and cost $8.

After several days with the V60 I'm feeling good about it. I like the design–I had an older Nokia before and I would leave it at home or in the car because it was big. The V60 fits in my pocket. The menus are intuitive and easy to navigate. Voices sound natural, volume is good. Since you're telling me it has good RF, that pretty much seals the deal. Couldn't get it to sync with the address book on the computer, but that's no a big deal.

    Thanks for all the input.

yep, those are the ones i used mostly the Sanyo ones, also Walmarticon has a good price on the Belkin ones, $7.44 vs $20 at Circuit City, same exact chargericon.
