|  Question About Unlocked V400 On Ebay
Hello, I have a friend who is thinking about getting an unlocked Motorola V400 on Ebay. They currently have a Nokia 3595 but would like to know if they need to do anything like transfer the sim card to that phone. Cingular wants them to wait 16 months to upgrade and that is why they are doing the Ebay route. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You don't even have to call Cingular. Just put any SIM card in the V400 and it should work. As said above, all V400's are unlocked anyway.

How can i confirm that Motorola v400 with Cingular is unlocked? is there an easy way? i am looking at getting a new plan with Cingular soon but would like to be able to use the phone when i travel overseas.
