My V400 won't let me make calls when I have the car charger plugged in. It tells me "call failed".

I'm using a Belkin brand car charger (the same model for the V60, T720, etc.)

I'm not sure if this has to do with the fact I'm not using a Motorola brand car charger, don't have one to try. The Belkin charges and powers the phone without any problem. I just can't make calls.

Anyone knows what is happening?

Either there's something wrong with the phone, or the charger is making the phone not behave properly. I bought a cheap car charger from Ebay and my V400 works just fine with it. Check behind your phone. Take out the battery and in the top label you will see the number SUG3625AA or SUG3625BA. The phones ending in BA are more updated and have some problems corrected. If you got your phone recently, consider exchanging it under warranty.
