I have read something about Triband on the 7868w but mine says Dual Band on the face. I have seen other 7868's with Dual and they are supposed to be the Triband ones... What is the scoop on this??? Is it in the programing or what? Thanks

If I remember correctly from my days with a 7868, it's dual BAND, tri-MODE. Which, essentially, means it will operate on 800/1900 CDMA digital and 800 AMPS. So you should be able to activate your phone on any of the newer plans.
