I was at a website from Europe or Australia (
www.besttones.com), and they offer codes to input into your cell phone manually. There are 2 Motorola codes, one for a general Motorola and then one for the following models: p280, v60, v66, & v120c. I was wondering which one I should use for the best results. I tried the general Motorola one and it sounds nothing like the song I wanted to hear. Moreover, the instruction manual said that the "0" key was to alter tones such as "whole (w), half (h), & quarter (q) notes" but the '0' doesn't do that option. The '9' key does have a 'q' but I can't find the 'w' & 'h' notes. Also, I don't see how I can add a space in between notes -- I tried the '1' & the '#' but they don't work.
Lastly, I heard a rumor that the 120c is a monotone, and the 120e is a polyphonic ringtone -- is that accurate?
Thanks for any info on this issue! This is my first post, and I am very excited to have song ringtones added to my cell phone. I have 50+ song codes -- I'm that excited! By the way, I don't subscribe to the internet on my cell phone (Axcess), nor do I have SMS service. Thus, I would only be able to manually add it to the cell phone, like the website suggests.
P.S. The reason I chose this phone was that it was a free upgrade for 1 year contract extension, but mostly that it has the FM Radio built into it!!
