Problem returning v710 to RS I returned the V710 to RS because VZW told me that if I did then I would be eligible again for the NE2 credit. The Manager finally did process my return, credited my MC and gave me my refund receipt.
RS told me to call VZW to cancel the contract because he did all he needed to by issuing the refund.
Now I have checked with VZW and they say there is no record of the return so I am still not eligable for NE@ and I also loose my 2yr plan discount since it does not show up on there system.
What can I do?
Consider this a warning to anyone thinking of going to RS and then returning it for the VZW deal. It could be a mess you don't need.

Re: Problem returning v710 to RS Sounds like you need to have the manager at RS make a call to VZW
. Either that, or you're hosed. The innocent shall suffer. Big time.

Re: Problem returning v710 to RS
Thank You VZW Customer support online!
After a few tries to straighten this out I sent emails ti VZW and on the last attempt at explaining itwas finally handled in a courtious and proper fassion.
Better luck than on the phone or at RS.
The agent actually called the RS atore and walked them through how to return/cancel a sale
I again am eligible. From now on I go to VZW direct, no more middle men or resellers.
I will join the rest of you with your v710's next week after the launch

Re: Problem returning v710 to RS Why would anyone eligible for new every 2, purchase a phone at RS? Everything being equal the same phone would be $100.00 less at a Verizon
store. Richard
