Post your opinions of upcoming phones!

i want to hear what you guys think about the upcoming phones... heres my stance:


sammy a670 - IMHO, its REALLY ugly. i hate the placement of the camera. BUT if the camera was put on the back, id like it alot more.
sammy a790 - cool colored, love the black. gsm/cdma makes it a good option for the buisness user, but i hate its square design
sammy a650 - ugly..very ugly. no outer screen makes it unappealing.
sammy a610 - love it, besides the no outer screen. its a cool phone.
moto e810 - eh, its ok. nothing new as an upgrade to the 6k. and the 6k looks better.
moto e310 - i like it a lot. (maybe b/c its targeted to teenagers?), a great upgrade to the t730.
moto v60s - i really like the v60 series of phones, thats why i like this one. i want a phone in addition to my 6k, and i think this will be the one.
LG vx7000 - i like it, i hope its not marketed in that purple color. maybe my upgrade to the 6k.
LG vx4500 - a great upgrade to the vx4400, it is a great option because of the speakerphone.

No screen on the outside...WTF?
sammy a610 - love it, besides the no outer screen. its a cool phone.

moto e810 - eh, its ok. nothing new as an upgrade to the 6k. and the 6k looks better.
Is OK, but could have been the bomb.
moto e310 - i like it a lot. (maybe b/c its targeted to teenagers?), a great upgrade to the t730.
Not bad, better be cheap.
moto v60s - i really like the v60 series of phones, thats why i like this one. i want a phone in addition to my 6k, and i think this will be the one.
Would like to see Motorola focus on something else besides trying to get more money out of this design...it's like Rocky 8.
LG vx7000 - i like it, i hope its not marketed in that purple color. maybe my upgrade to the 6k.
I like it.
LG vx4500 - a great upgrade to the vx4400, it is a great option because of the speakerphone.

moto e810 - eh, its ok. nothing new as an upgrade to the 6k. and the 6k looks better. It's actually the V810, don't know why every one is calling it the e810... I think this one is ugly too, but I also think the 6000 is ugly now. This one atleast has a flash, and will be small. And even though Moto disappointed us this year, I still like them alot more than LG.
moto e310 - i like it a lot. (maybe b/c its targeted to teenagers?), a great upgrade to the t730. Cool looking phone indeed, the Haptics technology will be a big selling point with the teenage crowd.
moto v60s - i really like the v60 series of phones, thats why i like this one. i want a phone in addition to my 6k, and i think this will be the one. An excellent option for anyone wanting a v60 but not wanting to pay for or use PTT
LG vx7000 - i like it, i hope its not marketed in that purple color. maybe my upgrade to the 6k. Ehh... nicer than the vx6000, but I still think it's ugly.
LG vx4500 - a great upgrade to the vx4400, it is a great option because of the speakerphone. Not only does it look like a spoon, it looks like an ugly spoon at that. I would never put anything made by LG in my mouth.

Edit: didn't someone say that Verizon was getting a verson of the V810 called the E810?

the a670 has a color screen on the outside, right? if so I think this is a REALLY nice phone. it is fairly sleek looking and has most of the features I would want. the main downside of it that I see is the fact its dual band, I still am not ready to give up my analog.

Going down the list of phones CellPhoneAddict stated...the only other one I would look at is the VX7000.

Also you forgot to mention the Audiovox/Toshiba 9900 which is supposed to also be able to support video clips (at least the sprint version of the phone (the 9950) does). This phone doesnt look like the sleekest phone but it seems like it has EVERYTHING a gadget freak (like me) would want from their phone.

Jan. 8 - 11 2004 will be the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. I'd expect several new phones to be announced then.

I think I will check out the e310. I don't care all that much for the other phones, they look and sound ugly to me.

I think the a690 is kinda ugly. The PTT button is bright orange.

And whoever said Verizon's version of the v810 would be called the e810 was mistaken. It will still be called the v810. The "e" is a completely different series of phones than the "v" series.

Yes the a670 has dual color displays, like the a530. We don't have any dimensions listed for the phone yet, but I'm hoping it will be similar in size to the a530.
