hey everyone. i currently have a motorola v120e. it's an ok phone i've had it for a couple of months now but i'm interested in buying a new one. i really want it to be a motorola or maybe even a samsung. i want it to be a flip phone w/ a color screen that i can put my own background, ringtones, and have vibrate mode. but mostly a color screen i don't really care for it to be a camera phone. is the motorola v60p any good? and is there housing avaliable for it and does it have a color screen? what about the motorola 730? any opinions or recomendations would be great. thanx.

v60p does not have a color screen. From personal experience, I would recommend a 720/730, but from hearing other experiences, you may want to run as far away from that phone as possible before it blows up. It would help to know what carrier you have to make recommendations for you.

Go get yourself an LG VX4400, it's a great color phone, with Get It Now capabilities. You'll love that phone. :0. H.T.H, Good luck.

I recommend the LG VX6000, even tho it has a camera, you can activate it without getting the pictures plan, its stylish, big color screen, lots of fun options and its slim, not a heavy brick. If you live out in the boonies i dont recommend the phone tho, its an al digital phone, if you do live out there, then get a tri mode phone

The Samsung a530 is a nice small color screen phone, very customizable with Get It Now, and has vibrate mode. It too is all digital, I would only recommend it if you live in a well covered area. The T730 is known to have buggy software, so you may want to avoid that one. Unfortunately, it will be a while before motorola releases any more phones on Verizon, most likely not untill next year. The LG models are nice as well, both the 4400 and the 6000.

The VX6000 is a great phone, just as the VX4400 is. Billabong, where is your location in the U.S? If you're in a well covered area, I would definietely go with the VX6000, but if in not so covered area, I'd go with the VX4400.

wait another week or two and get the 8600 audiovox. the 4400 is a good phone, but will be discontinued very soon. the 6000 is a great phone but digital only. and if the 730 is like the 720 i would not get it.

Dont forget the 4400B. My last 3 phones were 4400, A530, and 6000. The 6000 is by far the most satisfying purchase. |

Just by going with the model number, I would say its not worth it. But if I was still with Verizon I would try it as it is tri-mode.

Giving the phone a FREE trial isn't so bad, but, I can't see myself paying for the phone, and using it...lol. It's design isn't that bad. It's not too flashy, but, not so freakin plain the paint starts coming off the walls....eh I dunno. Anybody else..your thoughts?
