Now that I've broken the third antenna, I am flirting with the idea of installing a stubby antenna used for 120t(TDMA version) as well as 120e(newer CDMA version) antenna. Supposedly, the stubby is superior to extendable in retracted position. Motorola v120t antenna, black good or bad idea? If it works for 120e CDMA, I don't see why it won't work on 120c. |

I'd say good idea... I've read on other forums that this can be done, though I haven't done it myself. Good luck. |

Yes, it's possible. While I wouldn't go as far to say it's superior, it does beat having to replace your antenna all the time!

And it's definitely better than no antenna at all. The v120e antenna would be a better idea, since it's designed for CDMA. The TDMA antenna may not work as well.

would TDMA and CDMA matter? isnt the important thing the frequency? 800, 1900? That was the thing that is asked when buying an external antenna. Mike |

My 120c antenna broke six times, my solution was a new phone. Wish I would have known I could have just put a 120e antenna on it...
