Hey, Well I finally got AllTel to replace my Kyocera 5135 with a V60i... So far so good (except for losing my alarm, which was great when I traveled). However, I am having one minor problem with the phone dealing with the phonebook. All of the sudden, after about 15 or so names being put in with no problems, it has stopped ordering the names correctly. Now when I put names in, they go to the end of the list, regardless of the first word. If I delete them and redo them, this often puts them where they should be to begin with. Any ideas? |

It sounds to me like your phonebook "sort by" feature has reverted to sorting by "Speed No.". Here's what to do. Enter your phonebook. Press the menu key. Scroll to Setup. Select Setup. What Does it say? Sort By: Speed No. = names displayed as entered Sort By: Voice Name = alpha but voice dialing first i guess , never used this one. (incidentally, seems stupid, why would you need voice name near the front? wouldn't you just say it and it would dial? anyway) Sort By: Name = alphabetical If its set to the first too, simply change it to Sort By: Name. Did this help? |

Yeah I thought the same thing, but it's set by Name... At least it says it is. The rest of the names are sorted fine (by name), its just the new names that I just entered that are tacked on at the bottom.

I would try a master reset or master clear, whichever one does not erase your phonebook entries
