I'm looking to leave Sprint for Verizon or ATT, probably Verizon, and need to decide on a phone. Radio Shack is doing a promo for 700 any time minutes, unlimited N/W, for $39. They have the T720 and the v60 for $79 with a 2 year agreement. I like the 720, but dont like the battery life, and dont really like the SAR radiation levels of the phone. The v60 has a nice size, and decent battery life, and a really low SAR rating...but the antennae is apparently suspect. So here is my question....is the v60 worth the gamble, or is it just crap? Which is the better phone and why? I am looking for good battery life and small size. I probably wont be surfing the web with the phone, and dont care about the color screen (if it has it, great....if not, so what). So.........??? |

The v60 is the best phone I've ever owned. I say go with that. T720 is good, but the v60 has the better reputation on these boards.

Thanks for the inputs. I'm leaning towards that phone primarily due to the low low low SAR rating. I know the whole schpeel about "we dont know if cell phones cause tumors...*twitch twitch*...so...." But I dont want to take chances. If I can get good reception, long battery life, and low SAR, I'm happy.

I agree. Go for the v60...it is a very good phone and served me and my wife well while we had Verizon. I thought it was a little too small (narrow) for my liking, so I gave it to my wife. Other than the size issue, no complaints. Good battery life, great reception, and good durability as well. Unless you get a lemon I don' think you can go wrong with the v60.

The V60i gets my vote. It's Verizon best phone by far IMO.
