the places that used to have this available are no longer posting it but try this. goto the link i've provided below. the first post on this thread, it has 2 links, the first one takes you to a page where it used it be posted...goto to the second link a bit further down, one that is printed in RED and says: "this should be able to be upgraded with this link to truesync plus v3.1" clicking on "link" will begin the download thread to truesync software let us know if it works |

I just tried that link jedi, I believe its just the upgrade. Because it said I didn't have truesync, which is true. Dose any one know where to download the software now? And where can I find a good GAGIN step-by-step intructions, these forums are getting too confusing?

PRESTO!! =o) ok found a site that had the full install... it's located at Moscow State University.. hehehe TrueSync Plus 2.1 Full this is an 80meg download, and the server can only handle so many people.. be patient! once downloaded, you will need to unzip and then burn all files to CD... it will then install with no problems... after finished, simply update to TrueSync 3.1 and it will install the Motorola Phone Accessor along with it... good luck fellas! =o) hooray! |

I'm brand new to using truesync/gagin (just got my data cable today) - but I found a site with all the nec software (including an older version of truesync that can be upgraded to 3.1 for free), Here's the link - http://www.gprep.org/~mikes/downloads/ BTW: If anyone knows any good info sites that will explain how to use the brew loader, balpatch etc let me know .. I've been searchign through the threads and picking up some info here and there, but if anyone has a comprehensive site/instrucitonal file that will walk me through some of the details, let me know .. thanks! I know this program is large and 80MB on dial up is no joke. So if you want it I downloaded it and can put it on a cd-r for you. I can send it to you and everything for $5. Its not a lot considering the cd is a few bucks and shipping is a few bucks and thats not taking time waiting at the post office(GO POSTAL!!) and driving there.

I don't think I'm really selling it. I though it would have been a nice thing to do for people with 56k. I am not going to become rich by 'selling' this software. I just wanted to be reinburst for the cd packaging and shipping. I might make .50 cents on each item.

verizon motorola T720 (CDMA) ......thanks that'd be awesome. the prolific drivers dont work, unless I install the gagin drivers at the same time. Then windows 98 will recognize my phone as a motorola modem. I'm gettin ready to give up, i just want to get some use out of this data cable.

if you have windows recognizing your phone as a modem, then truesync should be ready to go.... tell it the comport that windows sets it up on.....

dude i tried every com port, and all three dont work...its retarded. I dont get my setup. I tried both rear and front USB ports, I have four. The USM motorola modem in my computer - hardware settings - says its on com 3, but I dont think thats true. Im so sick of this crap, I think the drivers I have are crap or something...I can't get bitpim to work, and im very very disappointed. Even on my friends Windows XP laptop, I couldnt even get gagin running...what gives? It wouldnt recognize the phone in the software no matter what comm port I tried.

OK!! Now im getting somewhere....After installing truesync plus along, with downloading and installing the updgrade from the link in this thread, I now have gotten the newer software to recognize my phone, and it's telling me it's on COM3.....but in bitpim I still cannot get it to read my phone in COM3. What can I do with truesync plus? Can I edit my entries on the computer? so far all I've been able to to is re-order my speed dials (which is pretty cool if i may add) and backup my phone. Do I need to get the update for outlook so I can edit my calendar and the rest of the crap on my pc, then sync it to my t720? I also have TrueSync Desktop installed, which seems easy to use, only TrueSync Plus is saying the program isn't supported. I really wish I could get bitpim to work... |

when u update the software you will be able to choose extra options such as an outlook client... the 2000 client works with office XP.. when you get everything setup correctly, you will be able to sync all your outlook contacts and calendar with your phonebook and calendar entries....
