Hello all - new to the forums world. I have researched this question and have not seen where this has been previously been answered. So here goes. I purchased an unlocked Tmobile Pink Razr v3 for Christmas. We have Cingular service. We have been unable to connect to the web using the new phone. After spending some time with Cingular Support, I have found that I need to make the following changes to the GPRS settings: WAP Settings for GPRS Profile Function Setting -------------------------------------------------- Settings Name Cingular Wireless Internet Express Home Page http://device:home or http://device.home Session Mode Permanent Connection Security On APN wap.cingular (lower case) PDP_Type IP Gateway IP Address 66.209.11.61 Login Type Automatic User Name WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (All upper case) Password CINGULAR1 (All upper case) This is really not the issue, the real issue is that I should be able to get to these setting by going - Main Menu>Settings>Web Sessions>Web Sessions>Edit At this point, I should be able to make the changes needed to allow us to get to the web. Well, there is not a 'Web Sessions' options on her phone. It goes from Java Settings back to tools. Is there a way to hide or reveal menu options? If so, how can I get this option revealed? I have looked at Cingular branded Razr v3 phones and this option is there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Have a GREAT day, Mark |
