Looks like it has manual focus for close-up and distance photos.

Maybe Vodaphone is going to get it first? And since it's quadband (I think) the FCC has to approve it to work over here.

If this is a 3G phone that is only quadband, it would never come over to the states. For a 3G phone to be released in Europe AND America... it would probably have six different bands: 2100MHz UMTS, 1900MHz UMTS, and 1900/1800/900/850 GSM (unless they made another version for America of course... but I dont know how likely that is).

It might, I figured that it would be something like 2100 mhz UMTS, and 1900/1800/900 GSM. And then they might make a US version if they thought there was enough demand. Only time will tell.

That's a typical move on Motorola's part, we get the cool 3G handsets that work in Europe/Asia and you guys still have to wait for a new 3G handset to come along. Of course, the Motorola A845 was a start but it will take time for 3G/UMTS handsets to attract the kind of audience that has the demand for such handsets.

So, that would make it a sex-band phone? (Following tri-, quad-, and quint-) That'll make for some interesting marketing materials... =)

If that's the case and the sex-band phones sell well, then we know that "sex sells" .
