Default HELP! Can't get HS820 to work!

Hello everyone,

I'm a newcomer to this site and really hope you guys can help me out!

I recently purchased the HS820 with the Jabra A210 adapter for my Audiovox 8900. Pairing seemed succesful, but I just can't seem to get the headset to work!! Here are some of the problems I'm encountering:

After completing pairing mode and attaching A210 adapter to my phone, I can only pick up the INITIAL phone call by pressing the answer button on the phone and then pressing the MF button on the headset. I hear the other party, but they don't hear me.

After that, things get totally out of control:
  • Can't hang up or answer calls by pushing MF button. I do a quick push as indicated in the instruction manual, but it doesn't do anything, the blue light continues with a 2 sec long blink regardless of how often I push the MF button...
  • Everytime I push the MF button, I do hear some static, as if it's trying to connect but no actual connection to the phone. I just don't get it since the very initial call after pairing mode I seem to be able to hear the other party!
  • I'm getting very confused with the several blinking modes of the blue light. What is the difference between a quck flash and a longer 2 sec flash? Pushing the Mf button to switch from one to the other mode doesn't seem to make a difference.

PLEASE HELP ME! I'm normally pretty computer/high tech equipment savvy, this is the first time that I'm completely dumbfounded.

I'm not familiar w/ the adapter you are using, but the quick flash denotes power up / power down The 2 second flash denotes unit is on and (most times) paired with phone.
