Question XV6900- anyone using Touch KeyBoard? Need Help!

Does anyone have the xv6900 and is using the Touch Keyboard? Overall, I like this way of inputting but I am trying to figure out how to use the gray numbers/symbols in the upper right corners of the keys. Once when I was inputting info, those were actaully ALL I could type (it was as if it got "locked" into that mode) but once I reset it, it went back to normal, though I still can't figure out how to use those gray numbers in the upper corners.

Can someone help me out on this?

Thanks!

Gray symbols are usually an indication that they are locked off and can not be typed, perhaps your in a mode that does not allow those as correct input?

It appears that when I am using a particular program (List Pro) that I am unable to successfully use the Touch Keyboard. Anyone know why this might be happening?

The program usually specifies how much screen room to allow for the SIP (Soft Input Panel) aka keyboard, and the touch keyboard is much larger than the standard onscreen keyboard, most likely that is your problem the listpro code is not compatible with your keyboard.

You may try spb keyboard 4.0, it has a similar look and function, but may work better than the touch keyboard...

I have loaded the touch keyboard on my 6800 before, but had lot's of problems, the SPB keyboard with Stainless Skin seems to be pretty stable...

Does the SPB keyboard work similarly to the Touch one? Can you load it and try it before you buy it?
