Question Thinking of getting i600

I am considering buying the i600 to replace my v710...yes, some will say crazy but I can't seem to part w/ my phone/pda (have to carry my old Sprint i500 around as a PDA along w/ my cellphone!
I have a few questions for users:

1. My data is in Palm 4x; last time I tried to export into Outlook, it didn't work well. Will I have problems or need something special in order to get my data into this new device? Or is adequate software included?

2. I'm used to pretty good RF, voice quality etc. w/ the motorola. Aside from no analog, will I be disappointed in these features on i600?

3. Any words of wisdom or warning -e.g., like a much better version is just around the corner

Thanks all.

Aside from not having the Palm OS (which I am partial to) this is a great phone IMHO. I made a test call on it a few months ago in a Verizon store, and was happy with the call quality. Granted it was only one call and others may have more to say about it.

I know it has been around for a while, so it is good that they haven't yanked it off the shelves... Unfortunately I can't tell you much about the data side

If you have Voice Command service, the web based address book should carry over easily from the i500 to the i600.

Wirelessly posted (Samsung i600: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 176x220))

I don't think you will be disappointed with the call quality--it is good. I would highly recommend you try the Opera browser if you will be using it for Web browsing. Papyrus is a great calendar program and CityTime is a very good alarm application.
