I just got a new Pocket PC/Cell phone, Hitachi SH-G1000.

I'm trying to sync my Contacts from Outlook2000 into my cell phone.

Any help is appreciated...!!!

I'm pretty sure ActiveSync will take care of all the details once you make the initial partnership. Obviously make sure you set the synchronization right (Desktop/handheld, who overwrites who, etc.) My suggestion is to beam the contacts from the Hitachi to your cell phone, provided you have IR. If not, get a hold of a program called Fonesync, that takes care of the contacts real well.

ActiveSync will work just fine. I suggest that you go to http://www.usbnews.net/news/microsof...1_released.htm and get the latest release for activesync, but you should first install the software that came with your Hitachi before downloading and installing the update.
