Images: 5 | If someone provides the flash, I will do it to mine. I don't see it available anywhere. Apparently the German site for Samsung will have something soon...but haven't seen it yet. ATT won't release one until probably September or so.

I just bumped into the discussions on HoFo and Cingular Forums and they were pointing to this. Whether to trust those success stories or not is up to you to to decide

I am thinking of waiting until Att/Cingular officially release it, so if I run into a problem, I can fall back on my favorite group - Cingular CS

I had an opportunity to play with the new Blackjack yesterday. It has the same great built quality, reception & call clarity of the original. The menu navigation seemed to be faster than what I remembered. Couple of items that I did not care for: 1. The scroll wheel is in the center as opposed to the side. Not only was it an awkward location for me it also was too sensitive and jittery. I very much like the scroll wheel on mine and from time to time wish that my Treo had one. 2. It has a very shiny finish unlike the matt on the original one. In my opinion it looked cheap and was a fingerprint magnet. Just my 2 cents.

I still would have upgraded to the Blackjack II Charlyee, the scroll wheel did not bother me but I admit the finish did somewhat. The store had an original and I did like the matte finish better, AT&T still needs to straighten out my upgrade status but I won't hold my breath. |

I really think you should try a Tilt Charlyee. It has a scroll wheel on the side, just like you like it... -Jay

Charlyee: Did you ever flash the WM6 ROM? It's linked in several threads on BJ Users forum. All I really care about is getting the bluetooth to connect back and forth between my car and headset without having to manually change the phone. Does WM6 do this? I didn't think it was a differnt BT stack, but apparently the BJ2 does have better BT stack and profiles. I going to call ATT today to see what my upgrade situation is. I bought the BJ about a year ago.....hmmmm. |

The navigation is much faster. When you enter a letter in contacts, it is an immediate response versus the WM5 delay. In Calendar, you can see the entire message from an appointment instead of just the header and date/time. You also have the functionality to reply/forward/propose a new time which isn't in WM5.
