Default WM5 Application Requests?

I've been thinking about trying to do some commercial software development, I'm a private developer and have played around quite a bit with a Application I was trying to launch (thinking about putting it aside for a while.) Anyways, Windows Mobile 5 PPC and Smartphone users, what applications would you like to see for your mobile that you haven't found available, let me know.

So far, I've seen only ONE application for the wm5 smartphone...and the trial doesn't allow you to change dates. That being said, I would like to see a birthday/anniversary/important date program that reminds you of important events, customizable to being able to provide the reminder either a week, month, etc. ahead of the event itself. Boma Software wrote the reminder program mentioned above. While you can put a birthday in the contacts section, there is not one place where you can see a unified list of birthdays or important events.

Well I personally don't own a smartphone but the PPC version uses pocket outlook, matter of fact when I bought my phone I was given a version of outlook 2002 by Microsoft as a compliment to the phone (came on the active sync cd) anyways the reason I bring this up, it does exactly what you're prescribing with the phones internal calendar which is synced with outlook.

Actually it doesn't! Can you pull a unified list of all birthdays and/or anniversaries using Outlook? Of course you can set a manual reminder for EACH one, but that is not what I would like the program to do. Please download the Boma Software program trial called Date Reminder so you know what I mean. http://bomasoft.com/

Actually I've had no problem with this, perhaps it's because I use the Plaxo integration for Outlook (remote sync of contacts and syncs with other apps) however, whenever I add a contact's birthday it automatically gets entered in the Calendar as an all day event. Now, I will say, without it there is still probably an easy way to accomplish this, and if not there's most certainly a plugin for outlook for it, because, this is most definetly a useful function.

Have you seen Google's calendar (multiple calendars per user) lately? I've really gotten into Google lately - my husband and I are sharing calendars - and I've buiilt them up nicely... one calendar with about 5 sub calendars - one for me, him, birthdays-family, birthdays-friends, girl scouts events, work events, school events and counting. Can turn them all off and on, and I can see them on my Dash by going to the website... except i can only seem to see the events one day at a time instead of a month at a time... oh well... cant be choosy..

Wait another year or two, by then I'm sure google will enter the cellular market, once they do you'll have a company you can go with to access all your google information

I've been looking for this application a lot: an application for those who do not have a joystick, but who do have hardware buttons on their PDA, and therefore are limited to playing games. The idea was that it are just four tiny applications: one that emulates joystick left-press, one that emulates joystick right-press, one that emulates joystick up-press and one that emulates joystick down-press, so that you can assign those to hardware buttons, and use the hardware buttons as your joystick. Though, it would be nice if it would remain in the game screen, so it does not jump to a new window of the application.

Thanks in advance,

Segia
