for some reason it has chucked a fit and the sound and camera dont work anymore is there any way i can reinstall windows on it to try fix the drama

Do a hard reset, your manual will include instructions, you can also try goign into settings -> system -> clear storage that will revert to original factory install. Please note you will lose everything on your PDA so back up anything you find valueable.
