A number of the std apps have a 'Filter by Category' function. e.g. in Contacts, I can filter my list of contacts by "Family", and only get the phone #s of people I've tagged with the "Family" category. or I can filter by "Restaurants", and just get restaurants, etc. But the next time I open Contacts, the filter is gone, and I get the full list of contacts again. This is really inconvenient, especially if you have a lot of contacts. I want my filter stay applied until I explicitly turn it off. Is there any way to make the filter persistent, so that when I next call up "Contacts", whatever filter was applied last time is still in place? Thanks, Lee |

If you have allot of contacts and don't want to scroll down looking for them, I would suggest buying MS Voice command.
