Dell Axim & Sprint help...

Hello,
I'm in the process of purchasing a Pocket PC, probably the Dell Axim wireless. I've contacted Sprint and was told for $40.00 a month I could receive a card enabling me to access the internet. I've remember hearing that there was a way to connect your phone to the Axim and use it as a modem. The Axim I know works well @ "Hot Spots" but need to access the internet in other areas. Any suggestion would help. Also, before I purchase the Axim does anyone own or have owned one?
