whys is that i can barley hear my tones, even when i browse for them that there are so low, yes my volume is up ! my old lx vx7000 was better than this !! even the store display same volume, the tech check it ! phone is useless

ToolDawG, is your 8000 brand new? Did you just get it?

When are you having the problem hearing the volume? When the phone is closed or open?

If you phone is brand new, then there might be a protective piece of plastic covering the earpiece when the phone is flipped open.

If that isn't the case, then you most likely have a defective unit. I would take it back to the Verizon store and have a tech. look at it.

I have a 8000 and my volume is louder than my old 7000.
