Arrow LG VX6000 Camera

Point the camera at a wall or something that is relatively gray. Do you see lines running down, not interference, because when I take a picture they stop, and become part of the image. I do not have long before I cannot return my phone. Can someone please help me by at least confirming/disproving this?
And by the way, has anyone had a problem with the lens on the outside? I was just looking at the 7000 and it was a big deal how there is a lens cover (something I am REALLY surprised the 6000 missed). Is anyone's scratched up, or broken, or..... it just seems like it'll be kind of hard to keep this thing nice for the next two years if there is literally a camera lens inside my pocket on the outside of a flip-phone.

the lens has not scratched on me yet, and if it does, LG does have replacement lens.

i havent tried the wall thing. if it doesnt happen with other pictures, then i suppose its ok (are u really planning on taking pictures of walls?)

i wasnt saying that the effect happens on walls, but that it is most noticeable on something without gradient or color like a wall.

yes that's normal on the 6k, let's keep in mind that main purpose of the 6k is to make calls and is Verizon's first camera phone, so eventually they will improve on quality...
