Quick question. I'm in no way techno savvy, and I just bought the LG6100 thru verizon. The guy at the store told me to let the battery die before recharging, which I did.

When I tried to recharge it didn't work. The user guide states to fully charge the battery "before initial use" The battery appeared to be completely charged when I left the Verizon store.......

So...Did I do something wrong? or did I just get a lemon?

I know this is going to sound like a no brainer, but make sure you plug the charger in right side up. I see this a lot at work with a couple of models of phone that use blade chargers. My fiance' has a 6100 and I haven't examined the charger closely but it may be something that simple. It may be a defective phone, bad battery, bad wall outlet or any combination. Check it out and try the simple things. I plugged my phone in 1 time when I got to my destination (after 26 1/2 hours behind the wheel) and forgot to plug it into the wall. It is often the simple things we overlook.......especially when delirious from lack of sleep =)

You are so far off the mark you have left numbers all together and entered addition with mammals.
