Unhappy The Dreaded -Car Kit- message, but more!

Hello folks! I have an LG VX8300 through Verizon.

Today I was out doing some yardwork when I got some water on my pants. I quickly too my phone out and took the battery out in an instant as to relieve myself of any problems. Sure enough though, the phone went mental. I let it dry out, took out the rubbing alchohol and a toothbrush and went to work.

It's now out of -Car Kit- mode. I can hear sounds and hear the caller, however, I can't talk unless I have the headset plugged in. Regardless, the sounds work, I can hear either way, and I can still talk (but with only the headset plugged in). If anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!
