lexar microSD

i have the old standard lg phone and i just bought the lexar microSD card so i can put songs on it. the package came with the one smaller card and two adapters but no instructions. i'm not usually computer retarded but i'm not sure where to stick the adapter in my desktop so i can upload stuff and after i finish doing that how do i get it on the card to put it on my phone? hopefully i worded this so someone can understand what i'm saying and help me out pleaseeee.

If you have a media card reader on your computer you stick it in there. If not then you need a USB media card reader. I've purchased them as cheap as $12 in local stores.
