i have followed the instructions as you have all said but when i expand the file system i do not see anything that is dlod and i try to get the data from phone but it is all blank. what version of bitpim do i need and what do i do it will auto detect other CMDA phoen to com 5 but it wont let me do anything else

ok i got the file system open went into dlod and backed it up to the computer. then i deleted the lg_mysound.dat. then i opened the brew then media then lk then pressed on ms. i put my ringtones on to it. so then i upulged the phone and restarted it and went into the ringers and all the defalt ones are still in the phone and i do not see the ringers that i put in the phone. i pluged the phone back in went to the ms and the ringers are there. what am i donig wrong?

OKay can someone help me im really frustrated. I installed the drivers and when I plug in the phone with device manager open I can see that it recoghnizes it under Modems and under Ports, but it only stays fro about 5 seconds and then it disappears. Can someone explain ??? |

After screwing with it 4 half a day, I came to the conclusion that it is just as easy to put it into the main audio files on the phone. Walla, every1 can have your ringtone hassle free. And with a 4gb chip who cares what you keep on your phone!!! | |
