I have a replacement VX6000, and I downloaded some new ringtones. The ringtones work fine out of the handset, but when I put it in the handset, the NEW ringtones do not work, only the default ringtones work.

Any ideas?

So are you saying that you downloaded them to your computer and are trying to put them on your handset? I downloaded BitPim the other day but I couldn't get it to work yet if that's what you're using.

I downloaded the ringtones using US Cellulars "easyedge" service. When I did this on my previous LG6000, it worked fine. My new one however, will only play those downloaded ringtones when the phone is not in the cradle I have in my truck. Nothing comes out of the speaker for the cradle, nor the speaker in the phone.

The standard ringtones that came in the phone, work fine in the cradle or not in the cradle.

I like to be different....
