I dont even own a "car kit" yet my phone thinks otherwise. Above the date and time it reads -- Car Kit -- and calls to verizon have told me to take it to a tech center-- which is not really an option for me for a couple of weeks. In the meantime, i cannot recieve calls because i cannot hear the ring. if i did hear the ring, i wouldnt be able to hear the person talking. i cant talk on the phone either, but i can make an outgoing call. this led me to think i might be able to get by simply by using a handsfree plug-in. After droppin some $$'s on a new one, however, this didnt work either. Every once and a while it will flicker back to its normal mode, but before i can make a call out, it'll switch back. Extremely frustrating since the v-mails are piling up. Anyone have any experience with this????? edit: i tried the whole turn off/remove the battery thing a bunch of times |

Have you tried the "master reset"?

Okay here your answer: Grab a pin. A small needle. Then look at your charging port. There will be a small button on the left or right side next to the little prongs or coils. Then push the little needle into the small button on the left or right side. Even if you don't see a small button stick our pin up there anyway. It will take it off. My toddlers used to get ahold of phone and put it in this mode. |
