Hi,
I just got the VX4500. When doing voice dialing, it only seems to be able to call the first entry for a contact. For example, if I have a Home and Office entry, voice dialing will dial the Home number. How can I call the Office number without creating a new contact? The manual implies in several places that you can record a voice prompt for each entry, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this.

When I had my 4500 I kept the home and office numbers in the same entry and also made an entry for the office so I was able to use the voice dialing. I couldn't figure out any other way to do it.

On your VX4500, hit MENU 9 8 2. Look at your S/W version: if it's T45VZV02, you can go to any Verizon Wireless corporate store (i.e., any store with a Customer Service counter) and ask for your phone's firmware to be upgraded to T45VZV04. It will take about 20 minutes once you explain what needs to happen. Then, you will be able to assign a voice label to each phone number within a contact.

I had the 4500 I had upgraded yesterday and activated it to try out the new features and the new voice commands work great.

I was wondering the same thing about my VX6100. I hadn't researched it real hard on how to do it. I'll have to figure that out.
