I recently purchased a USB Data connection cord for my LG VX1 phone, so that I could connect with my laptop. I have the latest drivers, but the cable did not come with dialer software. I am trying to find out if I'm going to have to spend another 30 dollars for their software. Is there other software out there that will make the phone work, as a modem, when using it connected to my laptop? Please write to me at wojo36@yahoo.com, if you have any other possible solutions to my problem. Thanks |

Download the "Verizon Mobile office" software from the Verizon website.

I went to their site, I couldn't find anywhere to download the software. Does anyone know if it is downloadable? I have a phone, cable (usb) drivers, no software. I tried the SPRINT dialer software, didn't work. Anyone? |

I picked up a LG VX1 USB cable for my (Mac) laptop from TheSupplyNet (www.thesupplynet.com). To dial the phone into Verizon's QuickNetConnect (not Express Network), I just used regular dialin software as if I we're dialing a modem. This would seem to suggest that you should be able to use your OS' default dialer (Dialup Networking on Windows). HTH. |

That will work but you only get the 28.8 or 33.4 speed. With the Express network and using the USB cable you can get up to 230400.
