Default VX4400.....manner mode...? ? ?
is there a way to disable it all together? the damn thing is always getting hit and it goes into manner mode. Id like to disable the whole key if possible.

any ideas?

some have dis-assembled the case to take the side key out but i wouldn't go through that extreme...

Shouldn't you be able to do it from BitPim? under the Filesystem tab?

I haven't done it, just a thought.

On my 4400B you press and hold the * key until it sets, or goes away. I have that problem due to one of the rubber screwcovers missing.

Hi All,

I did have a couple of minutes to try to figure out if I could see where the key pad mappings are but I was unable to.

It would be cool if we could see the software that runs the phone and change it / disable it.

Oh well.......

At least I tried.
