VX10 - Headset On/Off to answer/terminate call?

Is it possible to use the call answer/terminate button on generic headsets with the VX10? I tried two (Samsung OEM and Jabra Freespeak) and neither works. But, I'm not sure if there is some setting I need to select in the menu system?

I think you need to set Menu>Features>AutoAnswer to "on" for this to work properly, otherwise you have to open the handset to use the handsfree... which defeats the purpose of a handsfree set, if you ask me.

Of course, I don't have the car adapter kit, so I can't speak as to how it behaves with that....

I did find out that while you have the hands free plugged in the phone operates slightly different. I could never put auto answer on...I tried and too many people heard things they didn't need to. But even with that option off, if you open the phone and answer a call and close the cover again, this would normally end the current call, the call remains on. This is why I believe you are right in assuming one set out there somewhere can use that option, if you find it let me know. But try that little part of the trick on non important call first, good luck.
